Artist Info - Rachelle Holowko

Rachelle Holowko is an Australian surface pattern designer, artist and educator who has a bit of an obsession for creating florals and anything to do with nature.
She is the founder of Pattern and Design where she gets to not only create gorgeous pattern designs for clients all around the world but she also helps other creatives do the same through the courses and coaching she offers.
Her love of colour, pattern and design was developed while studying a BA in Textile Design. Since then she has worked as a surface pattern designer, creating designs for lots of amazing products including homewares, fashion, stationery and accessories.
She loves experimenting with different ways of creating art from digital to watercolour and most of her work is inspired by nature. Creating floral patterns is her happy place. She believes inspiration is all around us so she enjoys taking the time to notice the beauty and detail in the everyday and allowing that to influence her work.

Her aim is to be able to add joy to the world through the use of colour and pattern!
