Pik•Nik Australia is an Australian Owned business - a dream that was born on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. 

The business owner Tracy is mum of three young children who love to picnic. "Sitting together with my children, enjoying a picnic in a park, at the beach, our backyard or even in the loungeroom bought immediate happiness to my children, but I felt regular rugs just didn't hold up well & the idea grew".

It started with a checklist, to be original and look beautiful, be functional, easy to clean from the inevitable endless spills and most importantly machine washable. Quality was a huge factor, it needed to survive living in the boot of the car, compact & always ready for the next picnic.

Together with her beautiful manufacturer these quality rugs were created with these original prints on material made from water bottles. 

A unique design point of these rugs are the discreet hooks on the underside which keep the rug in place especially on those windy days when being called to push someone on the swing.
